BENJAMIN SATTLECKER

The Austrian baritone Benjamin Sattlecker is a prizewinner of the Bach Competition in Leipzig as well as the Haydn Competition in Rohrau. He has also been awarded second prize at both the Bolko-von-Hochberg Competition and the Seghizzi International Lied Competition.
His concert engagements have taken him, among others, to the Munich Bach Choir and Bach Orchestra, the Hofkapelle München, the KlangVerwaltung Choir, the L’Orfeo Barockorchester, the lautten compagney Berlin, the Monteverdi Choir Hamburg, the Gewandhaus Choir Leipzig, Laurens Vocaal, the Arnold Schoenberg Choir, the Virtuosi Saxoniae, and La Divina Armonia. He has worked with conductors such as Hansjörg Albrecht, Rüdiger Lotter, Ludwig Güttler, Wiecher Mandemaker, Erwin Ortner, Antonius Adamske, Lorenzo Ghielmi, and Gregor Meyer.
Benjamin Sattlecker studied at the Mozarteum University Salzburg with KS Elisabeth Wilke and completed his master’s degrees in Lied and Oratorio with Elisabeth Wilke and Wolfgang Holzmair, as well as Opera and Music Theatre with Alexander von Pfeil and Gernot Sahler, graduating with distinction in 2021. During his studies he received valuable inspiration from Helmut Deutsch and Albert Hartinger. He attended masterclasses with Jorma Hynninen, Dietrich Henschel and at the Bach Academy Stuttgart, with Peter Harvey.
